What are Professional Senior Photos?

Senior photos are pictures taken the last year of high school. Traditionally, students settle for the same school-wide portraits that are taken in the lobby or school gym in front of a common backdrop with an awkward smile. This will be the last image to commemorate their twelve year journey through education. A milestone like this should not be taken lightly. It’s a time to celebrate all of the senior’s hard work, endurance, perseverance, who they have become and to share the beginning of a new chapter

At JLondon Images, I take the evolution of my students seriously and cannot help but commemorate this event. I do not just take pictures of my students, but I realize their personalities, their loves and their hates through the Senior Portrait Experience.

Meet Lyandra, a high school student from Newnan, GA. In true JLI Senior Photo Style ,we celebrated her accomplishments. Despite the recent pandemic that has kept a lot of students at bay or at home, this young lady has kept going. Her smile and radiance says it all.

Lyandra has a true positive spirit that perseveres. She continues to cheer for the local basketball team and before school reopened, was committed to practicing at home, applying for college and focused on making 2020-2021 a hit. As of today, she has been accepted into a number of colleges. WOOHOO and her wish is to attend a HBCU in the fall of 2021, has been granted. This lady has every reason to shout from the mountain tops.

The JLISenior Experience is a great way to celebrate who she is now and who she is becoming. Her portrait session took place in a number of unique locations in Metro Atlanta, Ga. All the locations reflecting her unboxed personality, an experience she couldn’t have had in the lobby or gym on her school campus. Lyandra embodies a spirit that is true to the JLI philosophy. She lives with intent and valor everyday.
