We are officially back to school in GA and I am ready to serve you with my second HS graduate. Nyam. I met Nyam through Kyanne, whom I introduced to you a few weeks ago on the blog. Click here for more info on this wonderful lady-in-the-making.
Nyam, was excited about my project theme and its objective. He shared that he felt it important for young adults to be shown in a positive light, especially today. “The media doesn’t do a good job if it at all” Nyam stated. Well Nyam, I salute you today.
Nyam, is not only a High School Graduate in London, but also plays semi-pro football, or for some, soccer. He is very talented as well as very intelligent. Being a young black male is not easy, even in the UK. There are a lot of stereotypes that Nyam could fall into, but he does not. Nyam, is the type of individual you would want your daughter to bring home to meet you. He is articulate, gentle, proud of his heritage (Grenada and Texas), funny, very respectful and intelligent. The world needs to see a lot more of this definition of our youth today.
One of the things I like for you to take from this HS Senior experience is that, Nyam may exhibit a different persona depending on what he is wearing, not based on who he is. I have presented only 3. Either way, remember not to judge an individual based on what you see, but by their character.
I present one of our future movers and shakers.
Proud to have been your photographer. Nyam, I salute you.
Stayed tuned for my next HS Graduate . A beautiful, cool, fashionable and go-getter….
In the meantime, if you would like for me to create portraits of your HS Senior here in Atlanta, please click here or fill out the short form on the side bar. I am looking forward to connecting with you.
See you next week!
